Obama apologises to couple after they're forced to relocate their wedding

The president’s golf game is more important than a marriage. This we have learned.

BARACK OBAMA HAD TO apologise to a newly-married couple after he inadvertently forced them to relocate their wedding ceremony in Hawaii.

Army captains Natalie and Edward Mallue were supposed to be married last Sunday on the 16th hole of the Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course.

However they had to relocate the ceremony at the very last minute after it was discovered that the president had booked the golf course for the same day. NIGHTMARE.

Realising the hassle he’d caused, Obama called them to apologise, saying:

Listen, congratulations on your wedding. I feel terrible. Nobody told us and had they mentioned they were going to have a wedding on the 16th hole we would have skipped the 16th hole. But I hope the wedding went OK anyway.

Despite everything, the couple were nice enough to invite Obama to the reception – he declined, saying everyone would have to be “magged” (POTUS-speak for ‘checked by security’) which would spoil all the fun.

No dad-dancing to AC/DC for the Prez. Oh well.
